The Comedy Union is now home to one of the HOTTEST shows in the southland, Spoken Funk. Thursdays have officially been FUNKdatified. The only place where POETRY and COMEDY Meet! Long day at work? Kids acting crazy? Boyfriend got too many "friends" for your liking? Come get some laughs. Come get some knowledge. Come get just what the doctor ordered...some therapy! SAME fun, SAME games, SAME prizes...

CHRIS TUCKER @ THE COMEDY UNION

Chris Tucker made a special apperance at the Comedy Union on Friday Night, April 20th, and delighted the audience with an awesome performance. Which just goes to show you...You never know who you are going to see at the Comedy Union.

Remeber to check Chris out in Rush Hour 3, which is scheduled to be released this summer and is sure to be another hit.


WE HAVE A BRAND NEW WEBSITE

There are a lot of new things happening at the club. New shows. New website with more bells and whistles than ever. Remember, the Comedy Union now has Valet Parking service available for all those interested in the convenience. We encourage you to check out our new online comedy channel called "The Comedy Union TV. Also, this months comic profile is comedian, Tommy Davidson.

COMEDIANS LAND JOBS ON TVONE
DATE: MARCH 1ST 2007

Two of the Comedy Union's feature comedians have landed network television gigs on TV-ONE. Rodney Perry the host of the popular show CU Fridays, he has also the co-host for "Bill Bellamy's, Who Got Jokes," 2nd season coming soon. David A. Arnold hosts 2 shows on Saturdays is also the host of the hit show, "Black Man Revealed" on Sundays at 10pm.

Enss Mitchell opened the club in Los Angeles' Wilshire District in 2002, planning to specialize in urban stand-up comedy. Damon Wayans is a regular, as are Mark Curry, D.L. Hughley and Mike Epps. But Mitchell notes that his six-night-a-week club (closed Sundays) also features plenty of nonurban shows. The cozy showroom accommodates 120 audience members, and the line for seats snakes out the door on weekends. Don't be surprised to see MTV taping something here on any given night.

This TUESDAY, June 20th @ 9PM. Damon Wayans will be appearing at the Comedy Union. The tickets are $7 before 9PM and $10 after 9PM.

This TUESDAY, June 13th @ 8PM "THE TOKEN CITY SHOW" hosted by May May Ali. It's a comedy show that pokes fun at America's Melting pot experiences; including pre-taped sketches and stand-up comedy. Doors open at 7pm. FREE Cover, 2 Drink Minimum.
